Dr. Phillips is preparing to welcome a distinctive new luxury destination. Carbon Car Club Dr Phillips is a new private automotive and social club planned for exotic-car enthusiasts in the Orlando area.
The approximately 65,000-square-foot club is being developed by Unicorp National Developments, the Central Florida developer behind several prominent projects in the region. The project represents an estimated $30 million investmentand is expected to combine high-end vehicle storage with dining, recreation and private social spaces. The Business Journals
More Than a Place to Store Exotic Cars
Carbon Car Club is being designed as much more than a luxury garage.
Current plans include secure storage for high-end vehicles such as Ferraris and Lamborghinis, along with a restaurant, bars, driving simulators and tennis courts. The concept brings automotive culture together with the amenities of a private social club. The Business Journals
For members, the idea is to create a destination where they can enjoy their automotive collections while also dining, socializing and spending time with other enthusiasts.
Why Dr. Phillips?
Dr. Phillips already has a strong connection to upscale dining, luxury homes and entertainment, making it a natural location for this type of private club.
Unicorp also has an established presence in the area. Its Central Florida projects include The Dellagio in Dr. Phillips, and the developer is involved in other major projects around Orlando. Montierre Development
Carbon Car Club would introduce another luxury lifestyle amenity to the community—this time centered around exotic automobiles and private membership.
Carbon Car Club Dr Phillips: A New Kind of Luxury Amenity
Private automotive clubs have become a way for collectors to combine secure vehicle storage with a social experience.
Carbon Car Club’s proposed combination of exotic cars, dining, entertainment and recreation could create something quite different from a traditional country club. Instead of golf being the centerpiece, the experience would revolve around automotive culture and luxury lifestyle.
That distinction could make the project particularly interesting in Central Florida, where luxury residential communities and a substantial collector-car culture already coexist.
When Will Carbon Car Club Dr Phillips Open?
The project is still in its early stages.
Unicorp founder Chuck Whittall told the Orlando Business Journal that the concept has been in development for approximately a year. Current plans call for groundbreaking during the second or third quarter of 2027. The Business Journals
An opening date has not yet been announced, and—as with any project at this stage—the design, amenities and construction timeline could change as development moves forward.
I’ll continue following Carbon Car Club as additional details are announced.
